微软于今天放出了DirectX Runtimes的最新版本(2008.3)，同时如此发布了DirectX SDK最新版。
DirectX Runtimes安装包包括了此前的所有更新，可替代旧版本，适合Windows 2000、XP、Server 2003、Vista、Server 2008等操作系统，并分为多国语言可再发行组件包和网络安装包两种形式，用户可根据自己的实际情况选择升级。由于一般最新的3D游戏、多媒体应用程序都需要新的DirectX接口，因此强烈推荐更新，Vista DX10用户也同样需要。
